All living organisms keep themselves stable by maintaining their internal conditions within certain boundaries, in order to continue out their metabolic reactions. This is known as homeostasis.

Explanation:

All living beings live (carry life processes i.e. metabolic reactions) within certain range of conditions (temperature, humidity etc.). Therefore, they (living beings) tend to maintain these internal conditions within themselves. This feature of living organisms to maintain their internal conditions within certain boundaries is called homeostasis.
For human beings work well with a particular body temperature. When we exercise, our body temperature increases. Thus our body tries to bring that temperature back by sweating.

Sweating causes cooling and it brings our body temperature back to normal. This is homeostasis.
