What is a homogenous mixture?
A homogeneous mixture is any mixture that is uniform in composition throughout.
An example of a homogenous mixtures include: alloys such as steel and bronze are homogeneous mixtures of two metals A bottle of alcohol is a homogeneous mixture.
A homogenous mixture can be physically separated into a pure substance, which is either an element or compound.
However a pure substance can't be separated into two or more substances by physical or mechanical means.
