A molecule that contains 2 atoms is diatomic molecule.

Explanation:

Most of the elemental gases are diatomic (or bimolecular) in their standard states: #H_2, O_2, N_2, F_2, Cl_2# etc. The exceptions are the Noble Gases. All of the halogen elements are bimolecular, i.e. #X_2#, but here only 2 (which?) are gaseous.

Claro?
