What is Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation?

I need to create a visual that represents this law, but I don't know what it means. A simplified definition would be great along with some examples on how the law works in our lives.

The force of Gravitational interaction between two points masses `m_1` and `m_2` is proportional directly to the product of the masses and inversely to the square of the distance between them.
Thus, mathematically,

`F = (Gm_1m_2)/r^2` where `G` is a constant and `r` is the separation between particles.

Also, the force acts along the line joining the particles.
