Perspiration, in short, is sweat.

Explanation:

Perspiration, or sweat, is made up of about 99% water, and 1% salt ions which might include potassium, sodium, and magnesium. It is our bodies way of regulating our temperature when we get too hot whether from external temperatures or physical activity.
