If a body is partly or fully immersed in a fluid. The weight of the body as measured within the fluid is less by the amount of the mass of the fluid displaced my the body.

Explanation:

To explain this, let us consider an object of mass 10 kgs and volume V. If such a body is immersed in a fluid, let's say water, the weight of the body if measured from within the fluid shall be (10 - x) kg where x is the weight of water which is having volume V.
