Greenhouse effect is the result of human interference and doing.

Global warming is typically the result of the natural cycle of the Earth's warming and cooling. When used as a general term, it can also be the result of the human pollutions (partially). But the green house effect itself comes from manufactured emissions and methane wearing away the ozone in our atmosphere.
