Use the slope-point equation #y=mx+b#

Given two points #P_1(4,0)# and #P_2(-7,0)# to solve for the slope or #m#,

#m=(deltaY)/(deltaX)# or #(Y_2-Y_1)/(X_2-X_1)#

Doing so,

#m=(0-0)/(4--7)#

#m=0#

Since their is no slope, the line is just going to be horizontal, the equation will look like #y=0#
