First step of pregnancy is fertilisation

Explanation:

Pregnancy starts with fertilisation This is followed by carrying fertilized egg to uterus. When it reaches uterus it is implanted in wall of uterus. Implantation is followed with formating of placenta and placental cord. Generally pregnancy period is between 37 to 40 weeks.
