# What is the formula for barium phosphate?

Nominally $B {a}_{3} {\left(P {O}_{4}\right)}_{2}$......
The salt derives barium ion, $B {a}^{2 +}$, and phosphate ion, $P {O}_{4}^{3 -}$. A neutral salt is formed from the formulation $B {a}_{3} {\left(P {O}_{4}\right)}_{2}$.
Most of the time, we probably deal with the bisphosphate, $B a H P {O}_{4}$.
