Explanation:

#"Cuprous oxide"-=Cu_2O#, i.e. #Cu(I+)#

#"Cupric oxide"-=CuO#, i.e. #Cu(II+)#

And I think that this is the extent of the simple binary oxides....

As written #"copper(IV) oxide"-=CuO_2#...but I would be surprised by a simple example....
