The DNA stores all the coded information for the function of the cell and the cells role in the development of a multi cellular organisms. The DNA is found in the nucleus.

Explanation:

DNA is a complex informational code based on groups (of three) of nucleotide bases. ( ATGC) , The information in the code regulates the function of the cell. In a multi cellular organism only parts of the information are used in a cell after development and the specialization of the cell.

The information is encoded in a molecule that is sensitive to degeneration by oxidation in the presence of Oxygen. The DNA is protected by the nuclear membrane so that the information stored in the DNA is not destroyed or lost.

The information necessary for the life of the cell is stored on DNA molecules that are found in the nucleus.
