# What is the physical properties ( boiling point and solubility ) for ? 2-methylbutane and 2-butanol

And I think these data are probably available on the interwebz. We would predict that $\text{2-butanol}$ would have some solubility in water, and that isopentane would have next to none. Their volatilities would also be substantially different, and the best measure of this is their normal boiling points. What does isobutanol got that confers these special properties...?
