Well, it was a liquid the last time I filled my motor up.


Gasoline is a mixture of hydrocarbons, isomeric pentanes to isomeric octanes. The most volatile component is probably #"n-pentane"#, which has a normal boiling point of #36# #""^@C#. Thus gas is a liquid at room temperature.
