It is from third person because it is read (and supposed to be performed) in play format meant to be seen from the third person. It would be difficult if not impossible to do a first-person play?

(I could be wrong though) It is written from third person but we primarily follow Hamlet, getting to see his opinion and thoughts on things through asides, monologues, and soliloquies. Of course, we also get to see other point of views such as Claudius or Ophelia.
