Associativity of multiplication
Explanation:
Multiplication of Real numbers is associative.
That is:
#(ab)c = a(bc)#
for any Real numbers
Footnote
Multiplication of Complex numbers is also associative as is multiplication of Quaternions.
You have to go to some really strange numbers such as Octonions before multiplication is not associative.
