Let the diameter of the circle #CD=x#

If #CD# bisects #AB#:

Then:

#AE=3.7#

#EB=3.7#

And:

#ED=x-2.3#

By the theorem of intersecting chords:

#color(red)(AExxEB=CExxED)#
