# What is the solubility of potassium chloride at 10°C?

May 8, 2016

See this site.

#### Explanation:

At $10$ ""^@C, the solubility of potassium chloride is measured to be $31.2 \cdot g$ per $100 \cdot g$ of water. Because the volume of the solution would not change radically upon dissolution, you could use this result to give a solubility in $m o l \cdot {L}^{-} 1$.

Interestingly, on looking at the table, I notice that the solubility of potassium bromide is almost twice this value.
