Firstly, removing the brackets..

$y = \left[\left(x - 12\right) \left(3 x + 2\right)\right] \left(7 x - 4\right)$

y = [3x² + 2x - 36x - 24](7x - 4)

y = [3x² - 34x - 24](7x - 4)

y = 21x³ - 283x - 168 - 12x² + 136x + 96

y = 21x³ - 12x² - 283x + 136x - 168 + 96

y = 21x³ - 12x² - 147x - 72

Rearranging the equation..

21x³ - 12x² - 147x - y = 72
