Propene consists of 3 carbon atoms and 6 hydrogen atoms. Propene contains one double bond from the middle carbon to one of the outer carbons, and than one single bond from the center carbon to the free carbon.
Since the atoms want a big of an angle between them, the molecule forms a bend in the structure (when looking at the carbon atoms).
