What joint is Synchondroses?
Where the connecting medium is hyaline cartilage a cartilaginous joint is termed as synchondrosis.
Such joints are found between the epiphytes and diaphysis of long bones, between the occipital and the sphenoid.
An example of an synchondrosis joint is the first sternocostal joint i.e. where the first rib meets the manubrium.
