The two main component of bones are proteins and calcium. So eating a diet rich in 1st class proteins (eggs and meats) as well as calcium (fortified milk and certain fruits) will provide raw materials to build bones and keep them healthy.

Regular exercise (at least 3 times a week) is also a good option since it increases bone density and strength of ligaments as well as increasing synovial fluid secretion which reduces friction between bones.
