What medical conditions result in a decreased number of lymphocytes?

Reduction in the number of lymphocytes is called Lymphocytopenia.
A best example for it is AIDS where the HIV virus destroys the T Helper cells ( A type of lymphocytes ) which causes the reduction in number of T helper cells which will ultimately cause dull immune response.
