What particles do the strong and weak nuclear forces act on?

Explanation:

You might get a more sophisticated answer in the fyzics section, but as far as I know, the #"strong nuclear force"# acts at #10^-15*m# ranges, i.e. nuclear ranges, and is approx. one hundred times as strong as the electromagnetic force that acts repulsively between positively charged nuclear particles.

The #"weak interaction"# is a little bit more abstruse, and I have told a couple of physicists of my acquaintance that they were having me on when they tried to explain it me. (They were too, I still don't believe them). The wiki article is here.
