Palaeozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic.
Explanation:
The start of the Palaeozoic is marked by an explosion of multi-cellular life forms - mostly marine creatures like invertebrates, but later on, vertebrates. The end of the Palaeozoic is marked by "The Great Dying" extinction event that wiped out 90% of species and set the stage for the Mesozoic and the domination of the dinosaurs. The end of Mesozoic saw another extinction event that killed off the dinosaurs and made room for us mammals to thrive. But taken together, the entire Phanerozoic only represents about 20% of Earth's history. We know much less about the 80% of the Precambrian.
