Phenotype refers to the observable physical properties of an organism which includes the organism's appearance, developement and behaviour.
Explanation:
A phenotype results from the expression of an organism's genetic code (genotype ) as well as the influence of the environmental factors and the interactions between the two. It is the composite of an organism's observable traits such as its morphology, development, biochemical or physiological properties, behaviour and products of behaviour.
Due to influence of environmental factors, organisms with identical genotypes, such as identical twins, ultimately express non-identical phenotypes because each organism encounters unique environmental influences, as it develops.
