What would happen to a cell that does not exit the cell cycle?

Explanation:
The cells once get the cues for cell cycle entry will keep on progressing through the cell cycle.
they will progress from one checkpoint to the other and then keep on going through it.
In case the cells strats to by pass the cell cycle checkpoint when they are not supposed to they will start becoming cancerous in nature and will form tumor sooner or later.
till the time the cell are in check in the cell cycle they will just keep on multiplying their number but if they starts to by pass the checkpoints in cell cycle they will turn into cancerous tumor.
