Ear wax or cerumen is secreted by Ceruminous glands.

Explanation:

Ceruminous glands are apocrine type sweat glands , i.e. simple coiled glands which open in external auditory meatus .

The mixture of cerumen and sebum helps in lubricating the external auditory canal as well as the tympanum/ear drum. Cerumen prevents bacterial growth inside auditory canal and traps particulate matters.
