B) Refraction

Explanation:

The Light that comes from the sun(also called White Light) is composed of a spectrum of colors (going from red to violet).

And it is these constituent colors(of different wavelengths) that are observed in a rainbow.

During a rainy day, there are a lot a water droplets present in the atmosphere.

As a light ray reaches any of these droplets, it is going from air(a less dense medium) to water(a more dense medium),

hence refraction occurs, whereby the light ray is deflected from it's original path.

Since, white light is made of different colors, each having a unique wavelength,

the colors deflect by different amounts, and that's how they become exposed, and we see a rainbow.
