All organisms need homeostasis to control their body temperature when being in a different climate or environment. This is to maintain equilibrium or equal temperature.

Explanation:

Usually, this happens physically or genetically. Animals, such as arctic foxes in the freezing polar regions, have smaller ears to seal in more heat. Elephants have large ears to help cool them of from the hot African temperatures. Many animals grow a larger coat for winter to help protect them from the cold, and shed enormously for spring and summer months.
