Why do we need to look at genetics at both the organismal and the molecular level?

For example, we cannot just see a human's DNA without looking at it in the molecular level, as it is too small to see with the naked eye. Also, seeing genetics at the molecular level will allow us to understand it better, as we could see the individual molecules and their properties.

This is where chemistry helps us... It lets us see the bonds between the DNA strands and lets us understand them better.
