Why does a iron nail sink in water but a ship made out of water does not?

This is because of density.

Explanation:

If the density of object is less than that of water than it will float on the surface of water.
If the density of object is greater than that of water than it will sink.
As density of iron nail is more than that of ship that's why it sink.
