Due to unhealthy agricultural and environmental practices.

Man fells pristine forests without considering the fact that he is destroying the environmental balance leading to soil erosion, landslides and barren areas. All the major multi national corporations are not supporting green environmental practices. Greenhouse gases are leading to rise in sea levels, radioisotopes like strontium 90 are resulting in dangerous levels of radioactivity (produced by nuclear power plants) and CFC's are depleting the ozone layer. All this is a recipe for disaster. The solution is use of biodegradable materials and proper waste management and town planning with strict penalties for corporations that contribute to increased toxic wastes.
