#"2-hexene"# CAN generate a pair of #"geometric isomers.."#

Explanation:

For #"1-hexene"# no isomerism is possible...we gots...

#"H"_2"C=CHCH"_2"CH"_2"CH"_2"CH"_3#..

On the other hand, for #"2-hexene"#, we got #"H"_3"CCH=CHCH"_2"CH"_2"CH"_3#...the which can generate cis and trans isomers across the olefinic bond...would this scenario also extend to #"3-hexene"#?

Anyway I cannot find a decent picture on the web...and I ain't got ChemDraw available...
