Why is archaea different from bacteria?
Nov 17, 2016
Complex RNA polymerases absence peptidoglycan etc.
- The Archaea have more complex RNA polymerases compared to the Bacteria. This character is similar to the Eucarya. The cell wall of Archaea lack peptidoglycans.
- They have different membrane lipids compared to bacteria and eukarya.
- Spore formation is absent in the Archaea. Although, the bacteria produce spores. Thank
