Oil is a pollutant when used irresponsibly

Explanation:

Oil, during transport, mining and use, can be harmful. Oil spills in seas caused some pollution problems (for instance, Exxon Valdez case).

Biomass energy is better to use if it is locally used.

When you burn oil not only carbon dioxide but also nitrogen oxygens and other pollutant emitted into the atmosphere. In terms of biomass, however, emitted materials are lower.

Oil spills can cause groundwater pollution. If it is the case, it is difficult to clean up soil and water.
