It is a major concern for everyone.

Explanation:

Climate change is a normal and natural phenomenon. Rapid climate change, as we are experiencing due to human actions, is alarming as it creates a wealth of concerns.

Rapid climate change is changing the environment at a rate that is too fast for natural selection to keep up. For example, the reduction in arctic ice is putting incredible pressure on polar bears to change their life cycle. If they cannot they risk going extinct. Another example is the increasing areas of drought around the world, and that is going to affect a large number of species including humans.

Additionally there is the fact that increased heat in the atmosphere is going to create more powerful storms, as the energy to form storms is based on heat.

Rising sea levels caused by melting continental ice shelves is threatening to submerge many areas of the world that human live. Many of these locations are 3rd world countries so it is easier for arrogant 1st world politicians to dismiss the facts, however rising sea level could effectively make living in Holland a little more difficult, unless you happen to be a marine animal.
