Why left ventricle is thicker than the right ventricle?

It has to pump blood

Explanation:

Left ventricle is thicker because it has to pump blood to all parts of the body while the right ventricle only has to pump blood to the lungs only. Left ventricle also thicker to sustain high pressure of oxygenated blood.
