The Mughal emperor who died in 1707 was Aurangzeb. And contrary to popular belief, he wasn't the last Mughal emperor. 14 more kings ruled after him until 1857, when the empire was abolished and replaced by British Raj(rule).
After Aurangzeb's death, the empire went into chaos and went through feuds. The Britishers were able to defeat emperors after him in battles and made the empire subordinate to their rule.
