You know that (I suppose they are in degrees):

cos30°=sqrt(3)/2
sin30°=1/2

So:
z=8(cos30°+isin30°)=8(sqrt(3)/2)+i8(1/2)=
$= 4 \sqrt{3} + 4 i$

in the form: $a + i b$
