Condensation can trap heat energy preventing its escape to the atmosphere.

Condensation can be found in many different forms. A common example includes clouds. As living and nonliving aspects of the world around us carry out life processes, energy is undoubtedly given off. Much of this energy is given off as heat and light energy, which can be blocked in its course of release. Clouds and other sorts of condensation act as barriers, blocking this heat, trapping it within our atmosphere. Heat can build up constantly over time if not given a proper course of escape thus adding upon itself and heating the atmosphere slowly.
