#n# = no. moles

#v# = volume

So #n=cv#

In dilution problems like this the total amount of material stays the same, you are just diluting it.

A useful expression is:

#C_1V_1=C_2V_2#

So #C_2=(C_1V_1)/(V_2)=(0.5xx125)/((775+125))=0.0694mM=69.4muM#
