= 1/2 * 10^(-3+7)= 1/2* 10^4
4 will divide 8 , 2 times. The quantities with exponents have the same base 10, hence dividing 10^-3 by 10^-7, would result in subtracting the exponent -7 from -3. The result would be 10^(-3+7), that is 10^4
