How do you convert 25 degree to a radian?

With this proportion:

#alpha_d:alpha_r=180°:pi#

in which #alpha_d# is the measure of the angle in degree,

and #alpha_r# is the measure of the angle in radians.

So, if you want to convert an angle from radians to degree:

#a_d=(alpha_r*180°)/pi#

and if you want to convert an angle from degree to radians:

#a_r=(alpha_d*pi)/(180°)#.

In our case:

#a_r=(25°*pi)/(180°)=5/36pi#.

360 degrees = 2 pi radians

Now:

1/360 * 360 degrees = 1/360 * 2 pi radians

Therefore:

1 degree = 1/180 pi radians

25 * 1 degrees = 25 * 1/180 pi radians

Therefore:

25 degrees = 5/36 pi radians
