What should I do if I see unwelcome behavior on the site?

If you see unwelcome behavior on the site you should:

• Inform the person that they are not behaving in an appropriate way. New members of the Community often aren't aware what constitutes proper behavior. Please be friendly when explaining that their behavior is unwelcome and send them to our Community Guidelines: socratic.org/help
• If you can fix the unwelcome behavior, please do so. For example, if someone write an offending sentence in an answer, just go ahead and delete the answer.
• Notify us of the unwelcome behavior. You can do this by emailing us at hello@socratic(dot)org or by flagging an answer as "Abuse or spam" by using the "Suggest Improvements" button under an answer.
