Inorganic chemistry is the study of inorganic (compounds that are not based on carbon like organic compounds) and organometallic compounds.
This part of chemistry is concerned with the properties and reactivity of all chemical elements. Advanced interests focus on understanding the role of metals in biology and the environment, the design, properties of materials for energy and technology, fundamental studies on the reactivity of main group and transition elements and nanotechnology.
Also, inorganic Chemistry is the study of the structures, properties, and behaviours, reactions, of elements, mixtures and compounds.
