An equation always has an '#=#' sign. Examples would be #x = 2# or #a+b = 5#

#sqrt2 * sqrt3 # is a Numerical Expression, not an Equation.

We can simplify it using the identity #color(blue)(sqrta*sqrtb = sqrt(ab)#

#sqrt 2 * sqrt 3 = sqrt(2*3) = sqrt 6 approx 2.4949#
