The genotype frequency is the frequency that a genotype occurs.
For example, if there are 3 gingers out of 100 people, the ginger genotype frequency is 3/100=0,03.
The allele frequency is the frequency that an allele is held by the individuals in the population.
For example, if there are 10 allele (A) and 190 allele (B) out of a pool of 200 alleles, the allele frequencies will be A : p = 10/200 = 0,05 and B : q = 190/200 = 0,95.
