Tsunamis are the result of tectonic activity and have nothing to do with salinity at all.

However, perhaps you are referring to increased salinity of the ground due to ocean water brought by a tsunami. If this is the case, salinity pollution is something that can only effect the land that the wave actually reached and it is usually a problem for only a short term. Salt, being water soluble easily returns to the sea from the land, so precipitation and irrigation can clean the land in only a few months.
