One way is to use white characters before your text.

Explanation:

I use color(white)(X) with as many Xs or other characters as needed to get the appropriate indentation.

Example:

Without hashtags:

This is an example.
color(white)(XXXXXX)425

With hashtags:

`color(white)(XX)"This is an example."`
`color(white)(XXXXXX)425`
